Liposuction

Fat Reduction

What is liposuction?

Liposuction or the preferred term “lipo” by the patients, slims and recontours your body by removing stubborn and diet or exercise resistant excess fat deposits and improves your body contours and proportion.

Liposuction procedure targets problem areas and removes fat from them by using a high-pressure suction technique thus restores your body’s natural contours.

You may be a candidate for liposuction if you have too much fat in specific spots but otherwise have a stable body weight.

What liposuction can treat?

  • Abdomen and waist (love handles)
  • Upper arms
  • Back rolls
  • Thighs (outer and inner)
  • Hips and buttocks
  • Inner knee
  • Chest area
  • Cheeks, chin and neck
  • Calves and ankles

Liposuction can be performed alone or combined with other plastic surgery procedures, such as a facelift, breast reduction/uplift or a tummy tuck for best body contouring results.

What liposuction can’t do?

Liposuction is not a treatment for obesity or a substitute for proper diet and exercise. Similarly, it is not a solution for weight loss.

It is also not an effective treatment for cellulite—the dimpled skin that typically appears on the thighs, hips and buttocks—or loose saggy skin.

Arm Lift

ARM LIFT BRACHIOPLASTY

An arm lift, also known as brachioplasty

What is an arm lift?

An arm lift, or brachioplasty, is a surgical procedure that:

  • Removes excess sagging skin that droops downward
  • Tightens and smoothes the underlying supportive tissue that defines the shape of the upper arm
  • Removes fatty deposits in the upper arm region thus reduces arms’ circumference

Fluctuations in weight, growing older and heredity can cause your upper arms to have a drooping, sagging appearance. This is a contouring or reshaping of upper arm  that cannot be achieved through exercise.

Arm lift surgery may be right for you if the underside of your upper arms are sagging or appear loose fatty fold due to excess skin and fat.

Thigh Lift

A thigh lift can reshape the thighs by removing excess skin and fat, resulting in smoother skin and nicer contours for the thighs and lower body.

What is thigh lift surgery?

Thigh lift surgery reshapes the thighs by removing excess skin and fat, resulting in smoother skin and nicer-proportioned contours of the thighs and lower body.

If fitness and weight control efforts have not reached target for a body that is firmer, more youthful-looking and more proportionate to your overall body image, a surgical lift may be right for you.

What thigh lift surgery can’t do

Thigh lifts are not meant strictly for the removal of excess fat. Liposuction alone can remove excess fat deposits where skin has good elasticity and is able to naturally conform to new body contours.

In cases where skin elasticity is poor, a thigh lift along with liposuction may be recommended.
